The program is set up so individuals can attend a coached group workout, train on their own, or mix the two. Volleyball got its start at a YMCA in 1896 so it's no wonder that the Rockland County YMCA continues the tradition. We offer three hours of co-ed pick-up play for experienced volleyball players who are looking for an informal, fun night of competitive volleyball. Players should have fairly good passing and ball control skills, be committed to competitive team play (pass, set and spike) and understand that there will be some powerful hitters in most sessions. You do not need to come with a team, as we will create skill-balanced teams in each session. Limit of 20 players per session, members and participants who pay in advance will receive priority.
