Cycling

The Rockland County YMCA is thrilled to announce the start of our indoor cycling program!!

 

What is indoor cycling? Indoor cycling is an organized activity with a group fitness format. Classes focus on endurance, strength, interval, and high intensity training using the stationary bike. According to the American Council on Exercise (ACE) if you are looking for a cardiovascular workout that offers a large expenditure of energy with minimal impact on your hips, knees and ankles, indoor cycling is an excellent option in both areas.

 

Our 45 minute indoor cardio cycling workout is fun, energetic, and burns an average of 500 calories per class. Classes are synced to the rhythms of energetic music.

There are currently 5 classes available for Y members at the Rockland County YMCA and more will be coming soon!

 

Tuesday: 7:00-7:45 am w/ Adrienne AND  6:30-7:15 pm w/ Shavelle

Wednesday - 7:00-7:45am w/ Devin

Thursday -7:15-8:00 am w/ Adrienne and 11:00-11:45 - w/ Larry

Friday- 7:00-7:45 am w/ Adrienne

Sunday 8:00-8:45 am w/ Shavelle

 Classes are FREE with membership Non Members just pay $10 for a One Day Pass
