MEMBERSHIP STAFF (FRONT DESK)
The Rockland County YMCA is seeking individuals with prior customer service experience to join the YMCA as part time membership staff. This position is responsible for providing customer support to members, processing membership transactions such as program registrations and ensuring that we support our mission in strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We have the following shifts available immediately:
- 5 am to 9 am
- 6 pm to 10 pm
- Relief/ Substitute
Create a positive & supportive atmosphere to build meaningful relationships with members, staff, volunteers, and parents
Greet members, guests, and program participants in a prompt, courteous manner
Problem solve and perform technical/administrative tasks to serve members
Works as a part of a team to complete workload
HS Diploma/ GED
Over age 18
Prior customer service/ YMCA experience.
Salary: starts at $10.50 per hour based on experience

September - June
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate.
- Current CPR/AED/Professional Rescuer, Oxygen Administration, and First Aid certifications.
- Knowledge of proper rescue techniques and proper use of equipment.
- Swim team/WSI certification/prior swim lesson experience preferred
- All shifts available
