DANCE FOR KIDS
Dance is a joyful, constructive outlet that allows kids to tap into their sense of discovery and self-expression. At our dance school, kids learn different techniques with patience and care. Our dance classes are cumulative in nature. The classes meet weekly throughout the entire school year (Sept. – June) so the students can practice and train for the end-of-year recital. Beginning with our fall program registration, participants sign up for the dance class(s) of their choice and registration will be complete for the year. Payment can be made in full for the school year or with our payment program.
Learning to perform before an audience can help to boost self-assurance, pride and a sense of accomplishment. Let the dancer in your child shine!
The Suffern branch of the Rockland County YMCA has a well-established non-competitive year-round dance program offering deliberately affordable classes in:
Tumbling (Rumble Tumble)
We offer classes for children as young as 3 years all the way up through high school. We provide a nurturing environment where children will learn to appreciate dance as a lifelong activity for self-expression, grace, strength, agility, creativity, and balance. Our teachers are highly qualified and care about the development of the whole person (spirit, mind and body) through dance.
