Early Childhood Programs

The Rockland County YMCA offers high-quality early childcare programs in two location in Rockland County:

  • Suffern – Toddler/Preschool/UPK
  • Sloatsburg – Preschool/UPK

SUMMER PROGRAMS 

We offer a fun engaging safe summer program for children ages 2-5. Program options are offered for 3 or 5 days a week.

 Program offering for the 2018-19 School Year 

Suffern

  • 2 year old program Tuesday and Thursday 9:00-11:30
  • 3 year old program Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-11:30
  • Pre-Kindergarten/UPK** Monday through Friday 9:00-11:30
  • Pre-Kindergarten/UPK** Monday through Friday 12:30-3:00

 Sloatsburg

  • Pre-Kindergarten/UPK** Monday through Friday 9:00-11:30

 **Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) is a special program established by the NYSED and the local school districts to provide a preschool experience for the children of eligible families. The program starts each year in September and is administered by Child Care Resources of Rockland. They accept applications for children who will be four years old by December 1st of the current school year and live in a school district which is providing UPK. Children attend the program Monday-Friday for 2 1/2 hours each day-transportation is not provided. If you would like more information contact Child Care Resources of Rockland
