Make a Reservation to visit the Rockland County YMCA!

Make the most of your time at the Y and reserve your spot today! YMCA Members can use our reservation system to use the Lap pool and Virtual Group Exercise Classes. Every half hour we are offering a limited number of facility pool reservations with limited space for our members to gain access to lap swim. Please enter your name, date of birth, email, and phone number as they appear in your billing statement. Should you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance making a reservation, please call our Member Services team at 845 358 0245 or email Erica Dsouza, Membership Manager at EDsouza@rocklandymca.org.

Note
  • Please sign our Facility Use Waiver, so it is on file for your first visit. This only needs to be done once.
  • On the day of your appointment you will be asked to fill a Self Health Screening Form online. This assessment must be done at the YMCA or on the day of your appointment before you come to the YMCA.
  • Your temperature will checked. Anyone with a temperature of 100.0 will not be allowed in.
  • Members are limited to one reservation per day per appointment type.
  • Reservations can be made up to 1 week in advance
  • Reservation system date above is member birth date
  • If you are unable to attend your reserved time slot, you can cancel in the reservation platform or call Member Services team at 845 358 0245
  • Reservation spaces not claimed 5 minutes after their assigned start time will be allotted to walk-in members
  • Members must be at least 16 years old to make a reservation
  • You must be 16 years of age or older to use the facility for fitness or lap swim at this time

How do I reserve a lap swim spot?

  1. Locate the Reservations Self-Scheduler below.
  2. Enter your first and last name as they appear on your Y Membership Account.
  3. Enter your Date of Birth.
  4. Enter your Email Address and Phone Number. Note: This is the email address that will receive your reservation confirmation.
  5. Click Find Me.
  6. Select the Reservation Date of your choice.
  7. Select your Appointment Type. (i.e. Lap Swim)
  8. Next to available time, click the drop down menu and select the time of your choice.
  9. Click BOOK.

You will receive an email to confirm your reservation. Please be prepared to show the reservation to a Y employee in case you are asked. You can print the email or show it on your phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does lap swim require a reservation?
Yes, at this time, in order to guarantee you a lane you will be required to have a reservation.

When can I reserve a lane?
You will be able to reserve a lane for lap swimming 1 week in advance. Reservations are made on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.

When I click FIND ME, nothing happens. What should I do?
Clear your browsing history and then try again. The members first and last name should exactly match the way it is set up on your account profile at the Y.  If that does not work, please call your branch for assistance with creating a reservation.

Does the reservation system close at any particular time?
Reservations will close one hour prior to start time. After this time, members will no longer be able to make reservations.

What is the duration of each lane reservation?
Reservations will be for 30 minutes. At the end of your time slot, the lifeguards will clear the pool deck to clean and sanitize before the next group arrives.

How will I know if my spot is reserved?
You will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation.

Is there a limit as to how many reservations I can make for a day?
We are limiting members to one lap lane reservation per day.

Can I reserve spots for someone else (husband, friend, sibling, child, etc)?
Each login has the capability to make only ONE reservation for lap swimming per day.

What if I am having trouble reserving a lane?
Please call our membership desk at 845 358 0245 or email Erica Dsouza at EDsouza@rocklandymca.org for assistance with accessing your account.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible to allow other members the opportunity to attend the class. To cancel a reservation, sign into our appointment reservation system on the website, click on My Appointments and select Cancel next to the reservation you would like to cancel. You can only cancel online up to one hour prior to the start time.  If it is within the hour, please call our membership desk to cancel your spot.

Is there a penalty for making a reservation and not showing up?
We are hopeful that members will be respectful of the need to make reservations. However, should we notice a member abusing the system, we may see the need to have a discussion with him or her. These incidences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

If there are lanes available but I don’t have a reservation for one, can I still attend?
Yes! You are welcome to have a lane if there is availability. If all of the lanes are reserved and you don’t have a reservation, you will not be able to enter the pool deck.
