Rockland County YMCA participating in #GivingTuesday, Donate For A Better Us.

The Rockland County YMCA is participating in #GivingTuesday on May 5th. Let’s come together to create a wave of generosity, citizen engagement, action from businesses and philanthropy, support for communities, YMCAs, and non-profits locally and around the world.

During this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis our buildings may be closed, but the Y is Always OPEN FOR GOOD.

New York’s YMCAs continue to serve communities across the state and here in Rockland County.

  • We are providing childcare for emergency workers and essential personnel at elementary schools in Upper Nyack and West Haverstraw.
  • We’re offering Virtual live and on demand Y 360 Exercise Classes for our members from teens to seniors.
  • Our staff are reaching out by phone to conduct wellness checks, to make sure that our seniors are safe and supported.
  • The YMCA is sponsoring the first ever statewide Virtual Youth and Government Conference involving local high school students.

And we continue to partner with other organizations to make sure that the needs of our communities are served. Please consider a donation to support our YMCA’s vitally needed programs and services for our members and community.

You don't need to wait until Tuesday to donate. Your gift will have an immediate impact on thousands of children, adults and seniors we serve. CLICK HERE to donate now!

We cannot do it alone. Your support is critical.

Please give so that the Rockland County YMCA can continue to serve those in the community who need us the most!
