South Orangetown School District After School Child Care
After school programs, running from class dismissal to 6:30 pm, are offered at Cottage Lane, Tappan Zee and William O. Schaefer Elementary schools of the South Orangetown School District. The programs run in size from 30 to 75 students depending on the school. These programs offer arts and crafts, organized group games, indoor and outdoor play, table games, homework assistance, special events and a nutritious snack. Each site has its own schedule of daily activities designed to meet the needs of its children and the their parents.

South Orangetown Child Care Tuition and Fees for 2009-2010
Tuition is based on a ten month enrollment, August 2009 through May 2010. Payment is due by the 5th of each month. Registration after August 5, 2009 requires one month's tuition before your child can start. There is a 5% discount for each additional child enrolled. Rates are as follows:

There is a processing fee of $40 per child and at least one child of those enrolled from the family must become a member of the YMCA. Late registration after August 1, 2009 requires a $55 processing fee. These fees and membership costs are non-refundable.
