Rockland YMCA Hosts Employee Training Event
The Rockland YMCA hosted their annual Employee Training day. The off-site gathering brought together experts from various fields to enhance workforce development. The event featured notable speakers including Sue from Montefiore Nyack Hospital's Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing insights into employee wellness and support services. Miriam, representing YRetirement, shared valuable information on retirement planning and financial wellness for employees.
Adding an element of team-building and leadership development, Adam and his team from Adventure Associates, Inc. conducted interactive sessions designed to boost employee engagement and collaboration.
"We had a great Employee Training event today,” noted Nancy Bosack, Human Resources Manager, Rockland YMCA. “As an organization, the YMCA is spread throughout Rockland County. We have our main building in Nyack as well as programs at more than 20 sites countywide including school-aged care in six school districts with over 17 sites. This annual training day is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and talk about our collective impact on Rockland County."
This event underscored the organization's commitment to investing in its workforce, addressing various aspects of employee well-being from mental health support to financial planning and team dynamics.
