Fright Fest Trip

Members of Teens in Action visited Great Adventure for a celebratory trip. The YMCA-based leadership-development program for middle & High school teens, attracts dozens of teens each year. The program provides teens with extensive leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and services throughout the community. “We love seeing the students learn leadership through service,” commented John Dilion, Youth and Teen Director, Rockland YMCA. “The program has grown in individuals but this year we really have seen the teens grow themselves with confidence, self-worth, and taking pride in the actions they do!” In addition to learning leadership through service, youth and teens also participate in team building workshops, trainings, Intramural sports, and activities that promote personal growth and social development.
