Night of MAGIC was a great success!
The Rockland YMCA hosted the annual The Night of MAGIC last night. This year’s theme, The Night of M.A.G.I.C.—Making A Genuine Impact on Children, raised essential funds for vital YMCA youth programs. Monies went to support swim lessons, youth sports, after-school care, preschool, summer camp, teen leadership, mentoring programs, and much more. This year’s honorees hailed from all over Rockland County.
Odunayo Adekuoroye, one of the world’s top wrestlers and 2024 Olympian, is the recipient of the Rockland County YMCA’s Service to Youth Award for her dedication to empowering young athletes and underserved communities.
Dr. Kris Felicello, Superintendent of North Rockland Central School District, is being honored with the Rockland County YMCA’s Service to Youth Award for his exceptional leadership in education and his commitment to student development.
Sheriff Louis Falco III is being honored with the Rockland County YMCA’s Community Service Award for his more than four decades of dedicated service to public safety, youth empowerment, and community well-being.
George Hoehmann, Town Supervisor of Clarkstown since 2016, is being honored with the Rockland County YMCA’s Distinguished Service Award for his lifelong dedication to public service and advocacy for the most vulnerable in the community. was a epic success.
The record setting attendance once again highlighted what a strong community we have in Rockland County. We are already looking forward to next year!
