KRUCKERS SUMMER DAY CAMP (AGES 5 - 16)

Why summer camp at the Rockland YMCA ? At the Y day camp, your kids will make new friends and have tons of fun as they explore new adventures each day. We offer organized Sports & Games, Arts & Crafts, Swim Lessons, Recreational Swim Time and Outdoor Play. Parents have the flexibility to choose their weeks during our 8-week programs. 

Our YMCA Camp at Krucker’s Picnic Grove welcomes children ages 5 through 16. Campers are divided into cohorts of 12 based on their age. They will have the opportunity to participate in fun camp activities including: Arts & Crafts, Swimming, Fine and Gross Motor Games, Nature Walks and Playground Time. With the guidance of our well-trained, experienced counselors and aquatics staff, your child will foster new relationships, learn new skills, explore the outdoors and so much more!  Lunch, as well as a Morning and Afternoon Snack are included.

DATES: June 29th, 2026 - August 21st, 2026

TIME/DAYS: 8AM - 6PM, Monday-Friday

AGES: 5 - 16 years old

  • 4 years old is acceptable if entering Kindergarten this upcoming Fall

COST:

  • Early Bird Rate (February 2 - February 28): $550.00 per week
  • Standard Rate (March 1 - May 31): $585.00 per week
  • Late Rate (starting June 1st as camp approaches): $600.00 per week

DESPOSIT: $100.00 per week

* Any camp registration before June 1st, 2026 - A $100 non-refundable deposit per week, is due at the time of registration to secure your child's spot
* Any camp registration after June 1st, 2026 - Full Payment is required at registration. 

* 5% multiple child discount on tuition only


* Financial aid applications for summer camp are due by May 1st. If eligible, applicants will be notified after May 15th on a first-come, first-served basis and given one week to accept the award. Please allow up to two weeks for review. All applicants must register online with a $100 deposit per week, applied to the total camp cost. Campers 5 - 12 years old is $12 Monthly (Youth Membership)
Campers 13 - 16 years old is $20 Monthly (Teen Membership)

TALENT WEEK

At the YMCA, we believe everyone has a special skill. During Talent Week, your child will be able to perform anything from singing, dancing, magic, comedy and card tricks; the possibilities are endless. No worries if your child is on the reserved side. Our staff mentors will help cultivate their confidence and assist in finding a special place for them to shine!

 
 

 

COLOR WARS

During this week, campers will be designated a color and participate in a series of events, including sports and academics. Which color do you predict will reign as Color War Champion?

 
 

 

MOVIE WEEK

During this week, children will be able to partake in movie trivia, learn about the history of movies, practice their acting and directorial skills and finally watch a movie on our big, inflatable screen!

 
 

 

AROUND THE WORLD WEEK

During this week, the campers will participate in celebrating the different cultures around the world and experiencing different foods, games, and crafts.

 
 

 

STEM WEEK

Science Technology Engineering & Math! Campers will be taking part in experimental activities all week. Some examples are creating mock volcanos, slime-making and a construction contest.

 
 

 

SUPERHERO WEEK

This week we will discuss strength, character and how we all have superhero traits within us. Children are welcome to partake in a superhero dress up contest, make costumes and play battle for the rule of the “camp kingdom”!

 
 

 

OLYMPICS WEEK

Campers will participate in a week’s full of Olympic activities- Swimming, Track & Field, Discus Throwing and much more! At the end of the week, we will hold a medal ceremony for our winners.

 
 

 

THEMES WEEK

Campers will participate in various entertaining themes throughout the week. Some examples are Tie-Dye Day, Pajama Day, Represent Your Favorite Team Day…
