The Rockland County YMCA partners with BOCES to offer FREE Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK). Y's Beginnings-Sloatsburg is an approved UPK provider. The first step in applying is to register through the Suffern School District, using the link below.

The Y’s early learning programs are operated on an experiential learning philosophy—children learn by doing. Our daily lessons are created to boost development through age-appropriate activities, and stimulating hands-on experiences, with a balance of an indoor and outdoor curriculum. Healthy snacks and lunch are included.
