❤️ Hear From Our Families

RP Connor

"We have been with the after school program with the YMCA for five years. Our daughters love going there after school, so much that they do not want me to pick them up early. The staff has made parties for the kids and when the gym is available the kids love running around. The staff is awesome and fun and we love them at Rp connor!"

"My son attended the YMCA's aftercare program at RPC from K-4. He is now a Junior in HS. It is a blessing to be able to have my daughter currently enrolled in the same aftercare program, which is still under the outstanding oversight of Ms. Donna and Ms. Patti. To know that your child is happy, safe and enjoying their time while you're at work brings invaluable peace of mind. I am so grateful that the YMCA creates this wonderful space for our children. It's the greatest service to working families in Rockland County. Kris, Danielle and the entire team are always accessible and genuinely dedicated to ensuring our children are in good hands.🙏💓"

"It provides a safe, kind, and busy after school program that my child really loves and looks forward to attending everyday. It is more than just snack and playing, it is interaction and teaching responsibility and how to be a good friend."

"My son has a bit of a challenging year however he has always been welcomed with kindness and a great snack to be himself and feel cared for. We are so grateful for the consistency of care for our son."

"YMCA has been so helpful for maintaining a safe place for the children to learn and play."

"The YMCA has provided me with the comfort of knowing my children are well taken care of before school!! Early mornings can be rough for little ones, and Patti, Marissa, Patrick and margarita are so patient, kind and loving! From helping with homework, to fixing hair styles, to supporting dance routines, they are always up to the challenge and do it with smiles! We would not survive before school without them! Also, if my children are ever having a bad morning at drop off, they always send a picture or text reassuring everything is ok. So grateful for the program!"

"I am incredibly grateful for the YMCA and the positive impact it has had on our family. My child has made meaningful connections and friendships, receives valuable help with homework, and stays prepared for upcoming school activities through the program. Knowing my child is in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment before and after school gives me tremendous peace of mind. As a working parent, the YMCA has been an essential support system for our family. Without these programs, I would not be able to maintain my full-time job which also allows me to complete my work day just in time to be home after the end of her school day. The YMCA has truly made a difference in both my child’s growth and our family’s overall well-being, and we are so thankful for everything they do."
