The Rockland County YMCA is Making a Genuine Impact on Children and families in Rockland County.
The Rockland County YMCA continues to develop healthy spirit, mind and body through a variety of programs.
Our YMCA served more than 3845 members and 329 program participant members (boys, girls, men and women), at 22 locations in communities throughout Rockland County.
The YMCA continued its program expansion in North Rockland which served children, from pre-school through teens. The YMCA conducts five after school programs in cooperation with the North Rockland School District serving 216 children Kindergarten through middle school. Our North Rockland Summer Camp Program in Pomona served 332 campers, ages 5-13.
The YMCA Youth and Government Program had 51 students from Nyack, Pearl River, North Rockland and South Orangetown Schools who participated in the New York State Conference in Albany.
More than 500 youth benefited from 150 swimming, fitness and sports programs; and youth participated in our creative movement and dance programs in Suffern.
The YMCA School Age Care program has grown to over 750 children at 14 sites in cooperation with the Nyack, Clarkstown, S. Orangetown and Suffern School Districts. YMCA Day Camp in Nyack served 44 children K-6th grade at our main building in Nyack.
The Night of MAGIC stands for Making A Genuine Impact on Children and the proceeds will benefit many YMCA youth programs including swim lessons, youth sports, After School Programs, the Y's Beginnings Preschool, Youth and Teen memberships, Summer Camp, and Teen Leadership and Mentoring Programs and the YMCA Youth and Government Programs. The Rockland County YMCA is also allocating a percentage of the events fundraising towards rebuilding our non-profit community. We are expanding our current facilities to include a new four-story structure for our childcare, youth, teens, and community members. The funds raised at this event will be able to provide for those who may not otherwise be able to participate in YMCA activities and will provide for rebuilding and future expansion of our programs to the community.
The Rockland County YMCA cordially invites you to attend our event and support our cause.
Reserve your spot online!
Join us for cocktail hour and dinner at 6:30 pm on December 1st at The Nyack Seaport. We'll donate net of all proceeds to The Rockland County YMCA's - A Night of MAGIC 2023.
