Stay Active with Your Medicare Fitness Benefits

The Rockland County YMCA is proud to participate in several Medicare fitness programs that may provide eligible members with a complimentary YMCA membership. These programs are designed to help you stay active, improve your overall wellness, and connect with your community.

Depending on your health insurance plan, you may be eligible to access the YMCA through Renew Active®, One Pass™, Silver&Fit®, or SilverSneakers®.

Eligibility and benefits vary by insurance plan. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your eligibility before enrolling.

PATNERED WITH RENEW ACTIVE® AND ONE PASS™

The Rockland County YMCA accepts Renew Active® and One Pass™.

Renew Active® is a fitness program available through eligible UnitedHealthcare® Medicare plans, while One Pass™ is available to eligible Medicare and Medicaid plan members through participating health plans.

As a benefit of these programs, eligible participants can receive a complimentary standard YMCA membership. Your membership provides access to most YMCA facilities and programs. Additional fees may apply for select programs, including swim lessons and specialty fitness classes.

How to Participate

  1. Visit the Renew Active® or One Pass™ website and confirm your enrollment in the program.
  2. Obtain your confirmation or eligibility information.
  3. Bring your confirmation information, photo ID, and completed YMCA membership application to the YMCA Membership Desk.
  4. YMCA staff will verify your eligibility, complete the enrollment process, take your photo, and issue your YMCA membership ID.

SILVER & FIT®

The Rockland County YMCA accepts Silver&Fit®, a fitness and wellness program available through participating health insurance plans.

Silver&Fit® is designed to help older adults stay active, improve their health, and enjoy the benefits of regular exercise and social connection.

Eligible Silver&Fit® participants can receive a complimentary standard YMCA membership. Membership provides access to most YMCA facilities and programs. Additional fees may apply for select programs, including swim lessons and specialty fitness classes.

How to Participate

  1. Visit the Silver&Fit® website to confirm your eligibility and obtain your Fitness ID.
  2. Bring your Fitness ID, photo ID, and completed YMCA membership application to the YMCA Membership Desk.
  3. YMCA staff will verify your eligibility and complete the enrollment process.
  4. Once enrolled, you will receive your YMCA membership ID.

SilverSneakers®

The Rockland County YMCA also accepts SilverSneakers®, a fitness and wellness benefit offered through participating Medicare health plans.

SilverSneakers® provides eligible older adults with access to participating fitness facilities and programs designed to support strength, mobility, balance, and overall well-being.

If you are eligible for SilverSneakers®, you may be able to receive a complimentary standard YMCA membership. Additional fees may apply for select programs and services.

How to Participate

  1. Confirm your SilverSneakers® eligibility through your health insurance plan or the SilverSneakers® program.
  2. Bring your SilverSneakers® membership information and photo ID to the YMCA Membership Desk.
  3. Complete the required YMCA membership paperwork.
  4. YMCA staff will verify your eligibility and complete your membership enrollment.
