SILVER & FIT®
The Rockland County YMCA will accept Silver & Fit®.
The Silver&Fit program is designed for older adults! By exercising regularly and meeting new people, you can be Silver, Fit, and Fabulous® too! This wellness program is offered through your health insurance. To see if your health plan offers Silver & Fit please visit the Silver & Fit website or stop by your local YMCA front desk today! As a perk of this plan you'll have a FREE standard membership to the Rockland County YMCA. This gives you access to most YMCA program- additional fees apply for swim lesson, special cycling class, etc.
To participate:
- Insured person must go to the Silver & Fit® website, confirm your enrollment in the program – then generate and print your Fitness ID.
- Bring that Fitness ID to the YMCA membership desk and they will start the enrollment process. You will need to present the insurance confirmation, photo ID, and complete a YMCA membership application form. This FREE YMCA membership does not allow you to participate in the National Membership
- We will verify your eligibility with American Speciality Health Patner Portal, run a background check, process your YMCA membership, have your photo taken and issue you YMCA ID tag.
